plan.com announces Santa’s on a Bike 2024

Taking place on Saturday 7th December, and hosted by telecommunications provider plan.com, Santa’s on a Bike will see hundreds of jolly motorbike riders in Santa costumes with decked-out engines take part in a merry motorcade, all in aid of Rebecca House Children’s Hospice.

This year's route will kick off outside plan.com’s award-winning HQ, 'No.5', on Victoria Street in Douglas, with support from the Isle of Man Constabulary Roads Policing Unit and other local authorities. Riders will set off promptly at 10am, heading south to Castletown, and concluding at Rebecca House around lunchtime, where the celebrations will be in full swing.

Nicola Patterson, the event's organiser and Chief People Officer at plan.com, shared her excitement:

“We get more and more excited for Santa’s on a Bike every year, so we’re hoping to see even more riders and spectators join us this time around. As always, we’re incredibly grateful for all the support, from the riders and spectators to the kind donors, local sponsors, and the Isle of Man Constabulary. The Isle of Man is the heart of motorcycling, so it’s the perfect place to bring everyone together to spread some festive cheer in aid of such a worthwhile cause.”

The festive spirit is for everyone! One of the event’s most enchanting aspects is the incredible creativity and dedication displayed by our riders through their costumes and bike decorations. From glittering tinsel to Rudolph plushies, the riders go all out to spread holiday cheer. Be sure to catch the spectacle at a nearby location along the route on this magical December morning.

Since Santa’s on a Bike first brightened our island in 2018, over £225,000 has been raised for Rebecca House. Last year’s event alone raised an impressive £86,839, a record we aim to top this year!
